Appointment Procedure
All appointments are scheduled through the IC reception desk.
Face to face counselling
Clients are required complete in intake form with personal particulars for record purposes.
Telephonic counselling
Clients are requested to schedule a telephonic appointment with reception. You may remain anonymous should this be preferred. The client is required to call the counsellor at the allocated time, as IC is unable to call clients for a session.
Play Therapy
Parents or legal guardians are required to schedule an appointment with the reception desk. IC requires parental consent from both parents to proceed with the child’s session. It is also required for both parents to attend parenting sessions for the duration of the child’s play therapy at IC.
Walk-in / unscheduled telephonic counselling
Should a counsellor be available, the client will be allocated a 30 minute intake session. If counsellor is not immediately available, IC will request the next available counsellor to contact the client.
